Nerds 2.0.1: A Brief History of the Internet
Broadcast Television Premier Event

Brian Webster and Associates produced for the Association of Internet Professionals a local television viewing party for the national PBS broadcast of "Nerds 2.0.1: A Brief History of the Internet " This special event took place Wednesday evening, November 25, 1998 at Club-i, an upscale Internet café in the high tech South of Market district of San Francisco. This event featured the show's producer and host Bob Cringely, a PBS online columnist and author of the best-selling book Accidental Empires: How the Boys of Silicon Valley Make Their Millions, Battle Foreign Competition, and Still Can't Get a Date. A unique mix of 80 local Internet professionals and new media moguls attended and enjoyed the opportunity to see their new industry showcased on national television and interact with the documentaries producer.
